| About Silo
First released in 2003, Silo has built a solid reputation as an efficient, focused modeling package. It has a streamlined set of polygonal and subdivision surface modeling tools, a topology brush for painting new topology on reference objects, and interactive real-time UV unwrapping.
As well as creating low-poly assets for games or real-time applications, it can also be used to rough out base models in ZBrush and supports Pixologic's GoZ bridge system.
Silo is a dedicated and lightning fast standalone 3d modeler. A favorite of professionals for movie characters and 3D printed objects. Emphasizes modeling and sculpting in areas such as 3D design, animation, video game production and communicating ideas. Silo is registered per user, not per computer or operating system.
