Artist and director Julian has released the official trailer of his animated short, GRUFF. The film is based on Julian's experience and is intended to express his love for his father as well as the fact he learnt that "not everyone shows love the same".

Different from common animated films, the director presents the work in a more novel production way: it is told entirely in paper that blends puppetry and digital compositing to create a fully practical animated film.

In addition, you can also watch the entire film production and shooting process on his channel: including the hand-made process of animated characters and various props in the scene.

The development of digital media has given artists more platforms to display their works, and has also allowed audiences to move from just viewing the works themselves to being able to go behind the scenes and understand the creation process of the works in a more timely manner. In the era of digital media and artificial intelligence, this kind of purely handmade work that requires a lot of effort, is even more valuable than ever.

The work will be officially released on Julian's channel on March 1st, don't miss it.
