| V-Ray Standalone for All V-Ray Scene File
For all V-Ray renderer users who hadn’t install the related production software like 3ds Max, Maya, SketchUp, but still want to render the 3D project? It is now possible with XRender! The V-Ray Standalone is now supported within XRender Client 1.4.16. As long as you use V-Ray renderer, no matter what software you create with, you can render it in XRender Client directly!
The V-Ray Standalone is an independent software that works the same way as any other software project when rendering with XRender, to render your project with XRender, you will need to export your file to .vrscene format first and then following the steps to render your tasks:
First of all, choose the renderer version in V-Ray standalone to set render environment.
Secondly, drag and drop your .vrscene file for task analysis.
Set parameters and submit for file uploading.
Check the render effect of prior frames. If it’s correct, render the remaining frames at full speed.
Check the final render result that has been auto-downloaded to the output path when rendering finished.
Other small improvement is to optimize the content of the prompts to make it easier for users to understand. The update prompt will pop up the next time you log in to the client. You only need to click Update to complete the version upgrade.
