XCloud Disk can accelerate collaboration with teams around the world on big data and large files by master and sub accounts for a team, for XCloud Disk use the same account system as XRender.

Once a member upload a file to the XCloud Disk, other team members owning the accounts attached to the same master account, can then go to the shared folder in the same farm and import the same files into their own workspaces. Every member of the team can share their important but huge files with the whole team without wasting time in transferring.

Aspera Uploading

By XCloud Disk, you can use Aspera to upload your files, which will largely save your time.

Aspera is a high-speed file transfer tool that helps to move data globally at the fastest speed, regardless of any size, across any distance. With streaming solutions built on the award-winning FASP protocol, Aspera uses the existing network to transfer, distribute and sync huge files and data sets globally at maximum speed.

And when using XCloud Disk, you can save a lot of time to upload huge files to XRender client.

Check the Tasks in XRender

A highlight of the XCloud Disk is that you can check the files of successful rendering tasks in XRender in history. Log in and enter in the same farm’s Image Drive, and you can see your projects in XRender. In this place, you can also download the project files to your local device.

Directly Submit to XRender for Rendering

As the XCloud Disk and XRender are interlinked and use the same account, you can use your files in the XCloud Disk to directly submit for rendering. And the parameter setting will be comparatively simpler than in XRender. But currently it only supports the submitting of Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini and C4D files.

To solve your problem with big data and huge file, XCloud Disk is invented and can be synced with XRender.

Note: The XCloud Disk will be downloaded and installed together with the XRender client. Besides, it shares the same account with XRender client.
