In the beginning of a new era, NVIDIA has announced massive huge suprises in their virtual address for CES 2022. Ranging from over 160 new GeForce RTX 30 Series laptop to updates on the Omniverse platform, drives, AI, etc.As one of the important speeches at the opening of CES2022, the 50-minute speech covered gaming, metaverse and autonomous driving. The stunning demonstrations must have brought all audience a feast! Let's review the content of this event with XRender together!

| Upgrading: More for RTX

One of the most amazing things is undoubtedly the updating and upgrading of NVIDIA hardware products. Over 160 new GeForce RTX and Studio laptops with new 4th Generation Max-Q technologies have been announced, including GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPUs.

NVIDIA-CES 2022-RTX Laptops

This is the first time that NVIDIA has brought the flagship 80 Ti series into a laptop, and directly configured with GDDR6 memory, giving even more powerful performance than the desktop NVIDIA TITAN RTX. RTX 3080 Ti laptops start at $2499, and if we compare it to a MaxBook Pro 16 with M1 Max processor that cost about $4100, the new laptop is able to boost the rendering speed at almost 7 times, alone with GeForce RTX's unique ray tracing acceleration, AI, and NVIDIA high-performance video processor to further reduce the threshold for high-performance creation, that is definitely a more attractive option.

3080 Ti performance - NVIDIA

In the meanwhile, compared with the RTX 2070 SUPER laptop GPU, the simultaneous launch of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU has a performance improvement of up to 70%. Especially at 1440p resolution, it can increase 3A-level games to more than 100FPS and cost starts at $1499.

Two NVIDIA's new Ampere GPU architecture cards, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti and GeForce RTX 3050, also got revealed to fill out the high and low ends of the 30 Series.

Considered as an entry-level card that "brings ray tracing … to mainstream desktops", the GeForce RTX 3050 is providing an 8GB card capable of hardware-accelerated ray tracing for under $250. The GeForce RTX 3050 has 2,560 CUDA cores, a FP32 compute performance of 9 Tflops and benchmarks for games has been release.

Describes as a "monster" by NDIVIA, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is surely a star this time. Although full details will not be released until later this month, NVIDIA is quoting the faster 21Gbps GDDR6X with a FP32 compute performance of 40 Tflops: over 10% higher than the RTX 3090. That a lot to except!

| Technology: Easier to Touch

It's not hard to found that NVIDIA is lowering the technical threshold of all artists and creators. For example, the NVIDIA's free Canvas app that based on the research results of NVIDIA GauGAN2, enabling users to turn doodles into matte paintings, has also received a major update. This is a painting application that uses AI to generate landscape images from simple brush strokes and is now able to not only increases the resolution of the generated images by 4 times, but also adds five new materials such as flowers and shrubs.

What's more, NVIDIA has also spared no effort to popularize RTX real-time ray tracing and DLSS deep learning super-sampling technology to more games. At CES2022, there are 10 new RTX games released, including The Day Before, Escape from Tarkov and The highly anticipated Ubisoft game Rainbow Six Extraction and more.

NVIDIA also debuted the new Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which supports technologies including DLSS, ray tracing global illumination, reflections and shadows. In terms of NVIDIA Reflex low-latency game technology, 7 new games got the supported, including the famous "God of War", "Rainbow Six Extraction" and "GRIT"

| What's More

After the NVIDIA Studio ecosystem has been further enriched, NVIDIA Omniverse has begun to target individual creators. Now, as long as you are a GeForce RTX and NVIDIA RTX GPU user, you can download rich materials for free as an individual.

Geforce RTX 3090 Ti -More to come

More features including updating the Omniverse Audio2Face to version 2021.3.2, new Streaming Audio Player, support for MetaHumans. For more details about NVIDIA new features at CES 2022, please check the NVIDIA official website.
