| Forest Pack 7.4.3
iToo Software has released the latest version of its layout, modelling, and scene assembly plugins for 3ds max, Forest Pack 7.4.3, adding compatibility for V-Ray6.
Designed especially for 3ds max as a scattering tool, Forest pack is meant to improve the process of distributing almost all kinds of usually used objects across a scene for artists. Released early 2021, the latest major version of Forest, Forest 7.0, brought significant updates and added support of scattering non-geometric objects like splines or lights, adjusting Hue Shift, Saturation and Brightness for all the Forest Color textures in a scene with new color correction tools and more. The 7.4.x releases are mainly compatibility updates: from the earlier support for 3ds Max 2023 and Arnold 7.1 to the latest available for V-Ray 6. | Chaos Vantage 1.8
Chaos Vantage is a real-time V-Ray scenes explore tool that previously known Project Lavina and was intend to generate fully ray traced view in really time. Vantage allows users to, instead of convert scenes created for offline renders into a form suitable for use in a game engine, render the original .vrscene format as well as perform simple edits via Vantage’s integrated controls with automatic collision detection.
Pretty much like Forest we mentioned above, the update of Vantage recently also adding support for V-Ray 6 (v1.7.3, June 13, 2022) as part of Chaos’s new V-Ray Premium and V-Ray Enterprise subscriptions, introduced alongside V-Ray 6 for 3ds Max. In addition, a new cloud system for the Physical Sky environment model, V-Ray having got its own procedural cloud system in V-Ray 6.
